The application for our Summer 2025, Fall 2025, and Spring 2026 programs is now open - complete an Inquiry and Application Request Form to get started today!

SEGL uses an online application that allows students and their parent(s)/guardian(s) to access all application forms, request teacher recommendations, track their application status, and, ultimately, view admissions decisions.

If you need any help filling out the application, please contact us: admissions@schoolforethics.org

Students interested in applying to more than one program may do so - there is a spot on the application to indicate this. There is also space to state a preference for a particular program.

SEGL Application Components

  • Basic Information
  • Writing Samples (four short essays)
  • Two teacher recommendations (from core academic teachers)
  • Academic transcript
  • Parent/Guardian statement
  • Graded Paper (from a high school History or English course)

Applicants are also asked to sign our Ethics Pledge, which demonstrates their willingness to abide by the SEGL social contract should they enroll.
